Home Is Not A House

My name is Melody, and my family is from Eritrea. I was born in Israel. Canada is my new home now, where I feel loved and show love. Home is heartwarming. Home is a safe structure. What is that smell? It reminds me of my mom’s food—Injera. I should tell my mom next time, "Wow, this is really good!" I feel happy in my new home. Home is where I feel supported. Home is an entrance to a new country filled with love and a lot of opportunities. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for helping families have homes in Canada.
