What A Home Means To Me

What a Home Means To Me By Jonah Loftus A house might have a couch but my home has a couch where me and my seven cousins play on the nintendo switch, we always get super competitive when playing together. A house might have a chair but my chair in my house is my cat’s kingdom, she always sits on the chair and no one else can sit on the chair. A house might have a basement but in my home the basement is full of memories like when we were playing ping pong on our new ping pong table and my brother hit the ball really hard and then I won the match anyway. Lastly a house might have a table but my home’s table is an area where me and my family gather for dinner every day. I personally think that having memories is very important. A home is a place you make memories and a house is a place you live. Everyone deserves a safe home to live in no matter who they are or what they do. Some poor people are much harder workers than the rich people, they just don’t have a high paying job. People need to feel safe because you don’t want to have a bad house and worry about something like falling through the roof or a flood. People need a good home for warmth for example, if someone is in a tent year round then it will get freezing in the tent, so people need a safe home to stay warm. Lastly people need a home to live in because a house/home is very safe for people so they can stay warm and have food and water even if you don’t like a person they deserve a home to live in. It’s really sad that so many people in Canada have no home. I think if everyone in Canada had a home that would be awesome. What home means to me, a good home for me is warm, safe, comfortable, and it needs to have my needs that are suitable for me. A really good home that you have had for a long time has memories and you love. I think that people with a very good home should really appreciate their homes because not everyone has a home and need it way more than you so everyone should appreciate their homes. People should keep in mind that some people don’t have a home and everyone should appreciate their homes.
