Home Poem

Home isn’t a place with big white walls One thousand big pillars so the house never falls It’s a place with love and comfort that everyone deserves Love doesn’t have to be earned It’s true that we all have love to burn From living on the side of the road to a mansion where water always flowed We all deserve a home That I've always known “I miss my siblings” I say as they all leave for college and go away Some people lost siblings in war I’m lucky I even have them although my heart is still sore I miss the laughter, the love, and all galore I know some people never experienced love so I’m grateful for it nonetheless I Imagine never have being loved and even that brings me stress I’m lucky I have a home some people are losing them in the world like a game of chess The rich king always wins It should never lead to that Home is love that everyone needs Home is me and my family Home is and should be a safe space to be free Home is for everyone that's how it should and always will be
