Meaning of Home

Meaning of Home When I walk through the door happiness and excitement comes rushing to me. The sound of the floor and the wind coming through the door makes me feel safe. My house tastes like my Dad's scrumptious cooking, as well as my Mom's baking. My house feels like the soft warm couch in my living room and also our family hugs. In my home I hear the laughter that fills the air. In my home I see all the fun we make and the memories that we share. In my home I smell my dinners that I eat and how I’m very grateful every day. In my home I have a shed. My shed is special because it holds all of my belongings. In my home I feel happy, safe, excited, sad, mad, angry, frustrated and calm. Big thanks to Habitat for Humanity for making this possible. Families are going to be so happy when they find out that they can have the home that they have always dreamed of.
