The Meaning of Home

What is a home? Is it simply where you live? The truth is I think a home is where people grow and love. I always find someone that I truly love at my home. My home is filled with sad and fun memories. Home keeps all of us together and my home is made out of family. When I am at home I feel safe and comfortable. Home helps me make memories. When I think of my home, I think of my mom yelling “I'm home” and us running down to say hi. I think of my brother and I talking about random things at night because I can't fall asleep. I think of my dad yelling “Suweeeeee” to call us down for dinner. I think of my dog running down the stairs at the same time as my brother, sister and I to go eat. A home is just like a timeline. I started there young and I will grow older. I started in Kindergarten and will end in high school. When I leave my home it won't just be a house it will always be a home to me. My home will follow me wherever I go. My home is special in every way and I will always love it no matter what.
