Meaning of Home The meaning of home isn’t what you wear Or where sleep at night It's where you feel safe It's where you feel loved It's where you feel free to be who you are Home is a place of joy and happiness Home isn’t a building with four walls Or going to the mall It’s where you laugh and cry And rest and lie It's where you are surrounded by the people you love But for some people home is everywhere and nowhere Hopping from place to place Or landing on the streets Losing loved ones from a war Home might be the memories of when things were simple and easy It makes me feel grateful for always being safe and warm There are many cultures and places Where home means many different things But for all people home means love Even when there's fights Or even when we go through hard things The meaning of home is where love flows and memories grow
