The Meaning of Home

Why Homes are Important Homes are important because they have a roof over our heads. We won’t get wet anymore. The walls help to divide bedrooms. I have a stuffy pig. I keep it on my bed. It is a comfy place to sleep. Home is cozy. Home is a place to spend time with family. I feel happy with my family. I love the smell of cookies in the oven after we make them. On birthdays, there is the smell of cinnamon buns cooking in the oven. Sometimes, we eat tacos. I also like when we eat mangoes together. My family shares good times. Everybody in my family helps with chores. We do not have specific chores, but we do what we see needs to be done. We take care of our house by cleaning the living room, doing the laundry, and doing the dishes. We have to clean our rooms because we want to move around in them. We clean so we can live in our house.
