MEANING OF HOME

Home is a place where you feel loved, cherished and happy. When you're not worried about how you look or if people are looking at you. Where you can just go there and everything is good. But for me home isn't someone or something its a place. Its where l can fall asleep listening to the sound of waves crashing. Where my hair is crunchy from the sea salt and all l can smell is the ice cold lemonade. Where the smoke from the BBQ blowing in my face. Spencer's Island is my home because it has the beach where l live in the water like a mermaid. From getting stuck on the sand bars in the boat and doing back flips off my paddle board. Falling asleep in the sand because it's warm. But a house doesn’t make you feel those things so that's how a house is different from home but to me the beach will always be my home.
