A house but not a home

Home is special to everyone and means different things to them, how is home special to you. A house is a place that you barely know but a home is a place that you know and love. A home is a place filled with memories, but a house is a place that’s empty and bare. Even if a house is big and pretty it still isn’t a home. A home is special because it has joy, laughter, hope and, the most important, love. Home is also a place where you can talk to your parents in private and share your feelings. Even if you move to a different house, you eventually make it a home. So next time you go home think about the things that make your home special.
