The Meaning of Home

At home it is warm, And the bees swarm, The flowers are growing, And the grass is flowing, I hear the sea, I am feeling free, The water at my knees, The waves flow with ease, At my feet, a seashell, I pick it up and kneel, The sand is hot, The gulls in earshot, All of these in my memories, I feel light and feathery, I belong here, Where my heart is near, The meaning of home Is where love is known.
