Not a House But a Home

A house is a building. It's made of concrete. It may be dull or it may be colorful, but it's still just a house. A home is not just a house. A home is a place where you should feel welcome. Home is a place where you should feel like you can be yourself. At home you should feel safe and cared for. Home is a place that you should feel like you belong and you should feel good. At home there is a family to welcome you and to love you. Home. It smells how you smell. Maybe it smells like your favorite food or maybe a pet. All in all, being home is nice. In Punjabi home is spelled ਘਰ and said cur, but whether written or spoken it means the same thing: warmth and comfort.
