A place where I feel safe

A house is a building with 4 walls and a roof, but a home is a place with loving people surrounded around me. A home is the best place you can be, making memories with your family. A place where I can be myself, doing what I'd like without getting shamed, I feel safe. A home, a place where if I can't sleep, I can go to my parents room so they can comfort me. A home, a place where I have shabbat dinner with my family, eating the yummy chicken soup my mom makes me. A home, a place where I watch movies with my sister cherishing all of the moments we spend together. A home, a place where I talk with my dad about my day, appreciating everything he does for me. A home, a place where I play basketball on the driveway with my brother, pleased that he is in my life. A home, a place where I cuddle with my dog on the couch, glad that I have her as my dog and no other.
