Home Is Where The Heart Is

When you think of a home, you think of the place that you live in. But when you really think about it, a house is the structure that you live in and a home is a place that gives you comfort, brings you joy and makes you feel safe. A house has all of your essentials: a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and just about everything you need to live! A home is personal and is full of comfort, somewhere you can express your emotions, make memories and be yourself. There are different types of comfort such as physical comfort and mental comfort! Physical comfort is when you physically feel a comforting feeling like when your mom or dad makes you your favourite food, or when you're wrapped up in a cozy blanket and surrounded by your favourite pillows and stuffies! Mental comfort is when you feel comforting emotions such as safety, love and joy! These emotions are important because they help create memories that will last a lifetime! Comfort is one of the biggest differences between a house and a home! Thank you to Habitat for Humanity for making sure that everyone in our community has a comforting place to live and giving them a place they can call home!
