Home

Home. Some people think that means a safe place that you own. But that's not all for me, home means to me where I can be me. It's not just a physical, hard, structure, but a feeling of warmth and security,{and life!} where you can truly be yourself. Home is where memories are made, whether through shared laughter, quiet moments, or overcoming challenges together. Home is a location where neighbors and friends are allies! When you are dejected, they will always stay by your side, even in very tough times. Home is me, snuggling with my dog, in blankets, hot cocoa filled the air. Marshmello bobbed in the brown sugar goodness. During harsh rain, most people think rain fills you with dread and misery, but, on a rainy day, it’s best to snuggle up with your favorite toy, or your pets of any kind! Grab your hot coco, fish out your laptop, dig out, pillows, stuffies, anything soft! Pile it all up, make a fort, and ta-da! Home also means a community, not just a place, it’s what people that makes it. As in, the park across the road, it’s filled with bees, flowers, plants, trees, ROCKS, all working in order as a community, in THEIR home. Everyone spreads its purpose helping each other, weaving the work together making it stable for us to share our joyful moments. Everything comes and goes, but home will not ever go away. It’s memories make it stand even though it looks like all is lost… Everyone deserves a place, and a feeling of welcoming, affectionate, friendly, charitable, compassionate, empathetic that will never wash away. Home to me, is where I can be ME.
