What Home Means to Me
To me, a home is not just a four-wall building. A home is a place where your family is found forever loving you and the feeling that they will always be by your side and you will always be by theirs.
A home can also mean all of the memories that you've had and will always cherish forever. Home is the start of new memories.
Home is more than just a place to live, home is a place where you feel a warm embrace. When you get home you just want to go lay in bed or on your couch, unwind and watch television, or read a book and just relax.
Also, home is a safe haven and a comfort zone. A place to live with our families and pets and enjoy with our friends. As with a house, you don’t have the same effect on our lives.
Home is a place of origin, a place you’ve lived for your childhood and maybe even longer but you feel like you’ve lived there your whole life all of the things you’ve done in or outside your home that you just don’t want to let go.
Home can be a place in the world where we take our first steps and learn more about life and ourselves. Home shapes who we are and what we do with life. Home runs deeply through our identity as human beings.
That's what home means to me, a place of love and family!
