A Home is Not a House

A home doesn't have to be a house. A house to me is walls and a roof over your head but a home to me means no matter where I live in a house or a shelter as long as I have my family I will be alright. I love it when I walk into my house and smell my mom's very tasty chocolate cookies. When I walk around the hallways I see memories of me or my family. My kitchen is a place for learning and making mistakes. My living room is a place to relax and chill with my family. My dining room is a spot to talk about our days. My basement is a space to play and laugh. My bedroom is a room to sleep and read and bring back memories of my childhood my backyard is a place to exercise And practice. Outside is a place to make never-ending bonds of friends to play, Laugh, have fun, and have a great time. A home to me is something that doesn't have to be a house.
