Home

Everyday I come home to a roof over my head, a cozy bed, and a lot of delicious food. Some people are even lucky to sleep in a tent. Some people wake up not knowing where they’re going to end up sleeping. That’s why I feel very lucky to have a home. My home is also somewhere I can express my emotions to someone around me. I’m only 11 years old and some kids younger than me must sleep through thunderstorms, extreme coldness, heat, rain or snowstorms. I play hockey and even just being on the ice feels like home to me but not everyone gets to play hockey. My perspective of home may be different than others, but I will always be thankful I have somewhere I get the privilege to call home.
