Family

My home travels with me anywhere. It has legs that can take me anywhere and loving hands for hugs. Around my home I feel safe and loved. I hear beautiful voices speaking kind words. I may hear leaves rustling or water running. I may also hear fridges clicking and humming. I am supported and happy. I can taste what I just ate and it’s pretty yummy. In my home I feel peace and I can smell my mom’s shampoo. My dad’s lotion too. My dog has her own particular smell impossible too describe. I feel her fur. I feel people and their skin. I feel air rushing by. I see people with thick hair and glasses. I love my home. The reason I have a home is so that I feel happy, have a safe place to go, and feel loved and safe. My home is my family. No matter what we all deserve a home.
