Building Up Memories

Home means a place I can feel comfortable and look forward to staying or coming to. Home means not bricks and wood, its memories built up. My first home was in my mothers stomach. It was a home was I could grow, have too much food without worrying, sleep all I wanted, and I didn't have to talk at all. I could be warm, full, safe and comfortable without having trouble. When I moved into my now home I stayed for 11 years and I still am living there. When someone asks me what home means I just say it's where I sleep but if you ask me on a deeper level I would say, it's where I can talk about issues, it's a place I can go to have fun, learn, and laugh. My current home is a place where kids love to come and I love playing with them and having fun with them because they see my home as a safe, inviting, cozy, authentic, and peaceful place. I want my future home to be in an apartment. I want to make my home a safe place where I can make others comfortable. I hope to be able to have a clean, cozy, and nice smelling home. I hope to be known as the kind next door neighbour with a friendly cat you can always go to for help. I hope I can make enough money to hopefully fulfill my dreams of living in a 2 story house. I hope for a lot of things but one thing I hope for the most is to just be able to afford a house. In the end home means more than just some walls,roof,and a door for me. To me it means memories that I built.
