What Home Should Feel Like

Some people might think that home is just a place you live. But it really isn’t. Home is a place you should feel safe, comfortable, and loved. When I'm at home I like to spend time with my parents, my pets, and my brother. All of them surround me with love and they make me feel like I can do anything. My pets give me emotional support and comfort me when I feel upset. Sometimes when I make a mistake I feel embarrassed. When I'm at home I don't feel that. Instead I feel more calm because I know my family will always help me through hard things even if things don't go well. My family are the people that I can talk to when bad things happen. They are also people I can trust. I wish for all people to have a place to call home where they feel safe, comfortable, and loved just like I do.
