A House is Not a Home Without Comfort

A house is just a building but a home is where you have all of your favorite things. My safe place is in my bedroom. It’s where I go to feel calm. It keeps me safe from family fights that come and go in the family. I feel proud of my home because it makes me feel warm and cozy. My home feels cozy when I curl up in my bed. I love curling up in my bed because it makes me feel calm and relaxed. My mom is someone I can trust and count on. When I hear or see my mom I know I am safe at my home. I smile every time I see her. These things are what makes my house feel like home.
