A Home to Me

A home to me is a place to settle down. A place to take a break from activities and stay away from the crowd. A home isn't just a building you have to feel at home. My room has its own place in my heart; it's a place where I can personalize and hang up my art. At my home I have pets. I can hug them and snuggle but most importantly hide them from the rest. A home to me is a place I feel safe, loved, and respected. A home is a chance to play patty cake with those around. Motion dance is where I feel all the emotions. As I dance around with the center of Attention. Dance may be sad but when we're on stage we feel super proud. As dance brings us together sometimes we need a breather from activities all together. The studio is a place I can escape and just be me. And dance is a place to be a family but let's just say we will miss you Alauna. I have so many places I can call home but these two are the ones that stand out the most. Let’s just say a house will never be a home.
