What Home Means to Me

In Vietnam I had a good time with all my family members. When I had to move, I was sad, but I know that my family just wants me to have a better life in Canada. Once I came here I had no idea how to speak English. In time my dad taught me how to speak English. Then we started packing and went into our new home at midnight. My mom's cooking fills the air with delight and joy. Eating the food is joyful. When it is time for bed, if I can’t sleep, my mom helps me to go to sleep with a lovely song with a wonderful melody and harmony. In the garden is where I remember those memories as a kid. Remembering it makes my heart fill with love and joy. In the living room there are family pictures of my childhood. Now in the kitchen is where me and my mom make delightful foods together, having fun and laughing. Upstairs in the rooms in my house me and my sister sing, dance and play creating more memories though the years. This is what home mean to me. It is my favourite place to spend time with the people I love.
