What Does Home Mean to Me
Home means a lot to me. Home means a safe place to live, my memories with my friends and family and also my stuff like my laptop, my bed and my toys. I’m so lucky to have a home, food everyday, working water, working power and my clothes. My bedroom is like a place to go when I’m mad or sad. Home is also a place where I have memories with my 2 sisters and my family. Me and my family are so lucky to live in a safe country with no war. Home is more than a structure, a house is a structure. When I moved homes I miss my old home a lot and my new home does not feel like home until a few weeks. Did you know that 25% of Canada's population is unhoused? That makes me so sad! So this is what home means to me.
