Home is Where The Heart is!
Imagine this. You come back home from a tiring day at work, there’s are couch, blanket, and a pillow. But there’s something missing, something important. There needs to be happiness, laughter, and comfort. When you come home you would need those feelings, that’s a home to me.
Many people don’t know the difference between a home and a house, but let me give you an example. Many people think a home has a triangular roof, bricky walls, and a door. But that’s not a home to me. A home is a gift, a gift that nobody sees but it’s there, which is our family. A house needs to have the foundation to survive conditions, but to me a home is built on strong roots. Roots that have love, compassion, patience, and tolerance.
A house though is made with bricks and cement, but a home has cement made out of love to make the home strong to survive any conditions. Love comes in various forms, but the love of your family comes in the purest from. This pure love is what makes a house a home.
I know what you are thinking, friends could also be close to you and that's true. Your friendship though could end in a conflict, but no matter how many conflicts you have with your family, they will always accept you. That’s a true home.
In conclusion, a house is a physical thing that's constructed, but a home is much deeper. A house is built, but a home is made with love and respect. A house it built with bricks and beams, whereas a home is built with love and freedom. After all, “A family is truly a gift that lasts forever”.
