What Home Means to me!

Home is a place where I can be comforted by the ones that I love and the ones that love me. Home is not just a physical structure; no, it is much, much more. Home is where I can be when I feel lost or upset. Home has people that can re-direct me if I need it. Home has food like no other. Home has the smell of chicken and mashed potatoes filling the air. Home feels like no other place I have been to. Home feels like cold iced tea on a hot summer day. After a long day of school when I go home, I feel refreshed. Home looks like my family and pets. The ones I love, my friends. Home tastes like my mum’s chicken cheese sauce broccoli. Home sounds like cats purring and meowing, home sounds like birds chirping in the tall oak trees. Home feels like love, home feels like a warm bath on a cold winter day, that, that is what home means to me.
