A Home Is Not Just A House

A house provides shelter but my home provides love and support. My home is a feeling of being safe and free to be myself. The sounds that fill the air are laughter and stories being told. On the walls there are picture frames filled with memories my family has made. In the kitchen we spend most of our time making lots of sweets and treats. My favorite is when my home smells like fresh chocolate chip cookies and homemade spaghetti and meatballs. The taste of homemade cooking and special sweet treats will make you feel like you're at home because it is made with love. When I walk into my house I see my living room. In my living room we have a comfy couch and a big T.V. where we snuggle up with cozy blankets and watch movies as a family. My home is not just a house.
