My Home

Have you ever thought about not having a home? Well I have. I'm pretty sure whoever is reading this probably has a home and we as people who have a home need to be grateful for what we have in general. Some things that I'm grateful for about my home are the fantastic location of my home, my fabulous neighbours, and my amazing family. I am so lucky to have a home! I love the fantastic location of my home! It's on a dead end street leading into a park. There is an art barn there, where talented artists have a loft upstairs and a store on the bottom. Every weekend on Saturday there is a market there. People sell everything from delicious food to spectacular crocheted stuff. I also have many neighbours! Speaking of neighbours, I have fabulous ones. They're the kind of neighbours who are like your second parents who always have your back. And all us kids are like cousins, always at each other's houses and fooling around. My neighbours are almost as special to me as my own family. My family is so special to me because we do everything together and always are supportive of one another. They're always there to cheer me on whether it's a sports game or anything else. We do family nights every Saturday. Though we have our ups and downs we are always there for each other. From the fantastic location of my home, to my wonderful neighbours, and my awesome family, all in all I am so appreciative of my home. Before we end just remember, it doesn't matter whether you live in a luxury condo or an old shack. A home isn’t just a roof and walls, home is a place where you belong.
