Home is where the heart is a place of living and emotions. Home is a place where love lives, memories are made, and comfort is found. Creating a place of belonging and peace. Home is a safe place from the outside world around us. It shields us from the danger away from home. Home is a place to rest, relax and recharge, get free from worries and stress. Home is a place of joy and laughter. Home smells like warm crisp morning air and the smell of earth after rain. Home smells like morning coffee. Home looks like a cozy space filled with familiar colours. Home felt different when my dad left for Nigeria. The house, once full of his laughter and stories, now echoed with the quiet emptiness of his absence. He is gone for a good reason, and I know he will come back. Then our home will be filled with joy and laughter once more. That's what home means to me.
