Meaning of Home

My house is not just a building with four walls, it is a place that makes me feel at home. The reason my house is a home is because of love memories and laughter. The first reason why my house is a home is because it has love. When I walk into my home I am grated by my dog as she wags her tail back and forth happy to see me. Then when I sit down , my parents will ask how my day was and I say good thank you but if it was a bad day they will ask why and can i do anything to make it better. Then I will hug my parents and I will feel there warmth of their body around me. as they are hugging me they always say i love you when im done hugging my parents. I look around the room because I see lots of smiles everywhere in front, behind and beside me. The second reason why my house is a home is because of memories. Every year since I moved into my home 8 years ago we recreated a picture of me and my family on the front porch of my home. This reminds us of the importance of family and home. Every year I smile when I see the art and pictures from kindergarten that my parents keep. That creates lots of memories. Homes are where memories are made and not just made they are remembered for. For example I was sad to leave my old home because of all the memories but as I grew I made more and more new memories. The third reason my house is a home is for laughter. When I'm eating my dad makes a really funny joke and then we burst out laughing. My dad is the jokester of the family. He is also very sweet and kind. My mom does funny moves and adds on to the jokes. So by then we are all leaning forward because of how hard we are laughing. My sister is just funny all together. She is kind and always apologizing. Even if it was not her, she is a good person. We will always be doing something so we are always happy. These are all the reasons why my house is a home. I feel I have the best family in the whole world love memories and laughter.
