My Special Home

Home is a topic that is interpreted differently by every human on the earth. Some people say home is their childhood house but some people regard home as a feeling that they have when they’re with their family. In my opinion my home is a place that is a huge part of my life and is very important to me for many reasons. My home is a place and feeling that is special to me because it has everything I want and need. My home is wherever I have family, friends and a place of importance which could be my house or school. In my perspective I have many homes, but only one is the most important. Firstly, I want to talk about my home that is special to me which holds many memories of mine. My safety is one thing that can greatly affect my home. Without safety you don’t know what could happen to you while in your home and in my opinion I always want to be safe in my home. I also want to be with my family who are the safest people I know. In addition, my comfort is something I need in my home, from snuggling up in my bed to playing video games. My home consists of lots of my culture and special celebrations. I’m Indian and I'm very proud of it because of our delicious cultural foods like our sweets or our other foods that I love, like samosas, butter chicken or even roti. Speaking of roti, my mom makes amazing roti with great curries and foods like chicken. My celebrations are special to me because they show my culture and who I am. One of my cultural celebrations is Diwali. On the day of Diwali, I used to set off fireworks with great coloured explosions. Since fireworks are banned I use sparklers and eat many cultural sweets. I also go watch the firework shows that light up the sky on Diwali night. A few celebrations I always look forward to are my birthday which is on January the 9th, Christmas and Halloween. Lastly, arguably the most important part of my home is my family and my needs. My family is my home, they provide everything I've talked about and more. My family consists of my dad, my mom, my brother, my cousin, and me. My dad is very special to me because he holds my happy memories of building things such as assembling my desk or bed. My mom cooks all my delicious food and comforts me when I’m sad. My brother is the person who brightens my day and always helps me. My cousin sister feels like a sister to me with her helping hand. My family plays a huge part in my home. My special home is where all my memories rest. In my opinion home is the most important place in your life that there can be. In my home everything I need is always close. My home consists of my culture, my tradition, my safety, my comfort, my celebrations, my family or my delicious foods. Home is a place that is special to you, not anyone else and mine is very special to me. Everything I’ve talked about makes up my home.
