What Home Means to Me

Home is a majestic place where I can feel safe, loved, and cared for. A place where love is flowing in the air, laughter, excitement all in one place. I smell delicious meals being cooked by my mom and my dad working hard in the garage making things we can use in our day-to-day life. I see my loving and caring mom that brings our family together. I see my brothers having fun playing video games or watching TV shows together. I see my dog every day when I get home from school. She is one of the lights of my day, she is also there for me when I feel sad. I feel safe at home because my mom is there for me during tough times. My brothers will always stand up for me and I will always stand up for them. Home should be a place where you feel safe and cared about. Home is not a home without a family and a home without a family is a house! Thank you to Habitat for Humanity for building many homes to make this country a better place.
