Home vs. House

A home is not a house. A home has love and memories, with pictures on the wall. Yet a house feels dark with no pictures or love. A home feels safe and a house feels empty. A house has nothing but silents and a home has laughter and cheer. A home has a safe neighborhood with people you know and trust. A house is just, a house in between other houses with people you barely know. A home has familiar smells and looks, and a house has no familiar smell or looks. A house is just bricks with furniture and a home is more than that it has family you’ve known since you were born. My house is a home. The smell of my mom’s cooking isn’t the same as in a house with no one cooking. My room has pictures of me and my parents but in a house there wouldn't be any pictures. A home makes me happy and a house has no emotion. I'm happy my house feels like home!
