Home is My Heart

Home isn’t just walls and a roof, home is a place where I can listen to my family on loop. Home is where I can fill my heart with happiness and love, home is a place where my family is beloved. In the kitchen, where my mom cooks with care, delicious smells roam in the air. I live with my brother, someone who I could never leave in the dust because he is someone who I can always trust. In the living room is where my dad and I always hang out, it’s the most loving place in the house. Home is my family, people that I love, home is where I know I’m always put above. Home is where I spend time making memories with my parents, home is where we give gifts and presents. Home is a place where a family starts. Home will always be my heart.
