What Home Is to Me

For strangers that walk by your house, it's just a building, but for me it is so much more than just that. Home is a loving environment where if you have a long hard day you can come home, relax and talk to someone who will always support you. Home is a safe space where I know I won't be judged. Home makes me myself. When a friend comes to my house, my couch is just an ordinary sofa but for me it holds so many memories from being sick to watching a movie and laughing with my family. My room is full of everything that makes me happy (including my secret candy stash.) Home is a place full of love, peace and care. Everyone deserves a roof over their head and a warm safe place to sleep.
