What Home Smells Like

What my home means to me. My home has a certain smell. It smells like candles and honey. These smells make me feel safe and cozy. When I go to my aunt's house, her house smells like animals, because she has a lot of dogs and cats. When I go to my Nana’s it smells like soup and it is very warm. When I go to my family's cottage it smells like the lake and nature. When I go away on vacation, the smells just don’t seem right. I can't smell my favourite stuffed animal, my pillow or my favourite blanket. It is not home. When I come back home, the smell seems new again, but the memories come back and I feel safe, warm and cozy. There is absolutely no house that smells like my home.
