What Does a Home Mean to Me?

A home is a place where I feel safe and can be myself without being judged, a cozy place where I feel loved by my family. When I get home from school I can smell delicious food then I go up to my room and get cozy on my bed. Sometimes I will tell my parents about my day and it makes me feel important by the way they laugh at my stories and if somethings wrong I know they are here to support me. On weekends we will play games or watch movies together. Sometimes me and my brother don't get along, but I still love him because he's my family. A home is a place where you can eat your favorite food and do your favorite things. In my opinion a house is not the same as a home, a house is just a building that people live in, a home is what you create out of it and within your family. Homes consist of not only people but pets too. My home is a place where I belong and love.
