Home

Home is where the heart resides, It fills your lungs with a sweet smell, The scent will give you pride. I feel bad for people who have to live in a cell, Tents, wells, on the side of a street. Yet housing costs continue to swell. Homes aren't gaps in cracked concrete. A comfy place with heating, Warm rugs under your feet. House prices leaves me seething, So much I want to implode. Because home has a meaning, One that never fails to show. Home keeps my heart beating.
