Home Sweet Home

Not every house is a home. A home is a sanctuary—a place where I feel safe, understood, and truly myself. It is where every corner holds familiarity, and each room is woven with memories that make it uniquely mine. As a family, we love to travel, but no matter how exciting the journey, at the end of the trip, I always find myself eagerly wanting to return home. The moment I step back into my room, lie in my bed, and rest my head on my pillow, I am filled with a sense of calm. The excitement of the journey home only grows because I realize how much I have missed it. My home reflects the character of my family, reminding me that not everything in life is perfect. It still looks beautiful, even with its imperfections. There is a sweet fragrance in the air that is a blend of my mom’s cooking and the scent of fragrant plants around the house—which brings a wave of happiness. Though I have moved homes twice in my life, each one has become a home, defined not by the space, but by the memories and experiences that shape it. Home is not just a place; it is a feeling—one that stays with us no matter where we go. It is where our hearts truly belong.
