Home is my Zone

For me, home is a place where I can snuggle with my dogs, fight with my siblings, sleep in my comfy bed and make memories. In the living and family rooms I watch TV and love my family and friends. The kitchen is where I help my mom bake cakes, cupcakes, muffins and cake pops for my family’s birthdays. The dining room is where my family and I eat every meal( breakfast, lunch and dinner). My bedroom is where I go when I want to be alone. It is where I go to sleep and I love to read there when I am frustrated. The toy room is where I keep all my toys from my past. The basement is where I go to play video games with my family and to get cozy and watch movies. On the stairs I look at the pictures hung up on the wall. Home to me isn’t just a place where you sleep and eat. It is also a place where you can make memories and love the people you share them with. My home is where I have fun, I get mad and I’m happy. My home is where I can just be myself. When my friends or cousins come over we go swimming in my pool in the summer, in the winter we play in my front yard making snow angels, building snowmen and going to get icicles that are on the shed. My home keeps me safe if a storm comes. My house keeps me cozy and dry. My home makes me feel special and important. My home is my zone.
