The Meaning of Home

A home isn’t just made up of wood, bricks and concrete. A home isn’t just a place to live, it’s a special place where I feel safe, love, comfort and a warm welcome with my family. My home is a place where I can relax after a long day, share meals and make special memories with friends and family. Every part of my home is a special place, like the kitchen where my mother or father cooks food, the living room where we watch movies, T.V. shows and eat popcorn. My bedroom where I’m allowed to rest, a quiet place or loud, a clean or messy room, whatever I desire. Home isn’t a building with rooms and furniture, it is a place surrounded by love, comfort and my family. No matter where I am, home will always be the place that makes my heart at ease. Home is also a place where I can truly be myself.
