A Home is Special

Home is where my family thrives and grows. Where I get older. Home is where aging is special. Emotions move freely in a home but a house they stay put. A home protects sorrow, holds you when your scared, and keeps the happy feelings safe. A house doesn’t do any of that. I know foster care isn’t a home it’s a house where nothing belongs to you. When you get adopted that’s a home. Things now belong to you and no one else.
