What home means to me

What home means to me By: Alexandra Moles At home, I really feel like there’s nowhere else I’d rather be, that's what home means to me. Somewhere gentle and warm, somewhere where all thoughts swarm. A peaceful place where someone loves me, even when I’m being me. Every night when I lie in bed and can’t get rid of my worries, sleep brings me to somewhere far away instead. The way my family loves me each time I come home, like when I get a hug even if my test was wrong. Hot chocolate calls to me after a long winter day, as if it were to say “You need some rest and something warm.” That's what it means to me. Something about how my dog sits on my knee when I read and my cat lies on my pillow makes all this come to mind when I think about home.
