Meaning of Home

Home is The entrance of my home is welcoming it never lets me frown It also helps me stand up when I get pushed down It’s where all my winter gear is stored to help me stay warm It also has my rain gear if there is a storm Next is the living room to cosy up and read In my home I always try to do good deeds My couch is soft, warm, and fluffy It never feels stuffy My bedroom is my favourite place it's where I fall asleep My bed is super great I lie there as I count sheep My dreams are terrific and wonderfully weird My room helps me get over nightmares that I've feared My kitchen is where my dad cooks delicious food The food always puts me in a good mood The pots and pans are stored there In the kitchen my dad always gives me hugs like a bear My dining room is where I eat The food there is always a treat As we eat we talk and relate After dinner I help clean up by bringing my plate Finally, my basement where I watch shows In superhero movies some people are friends and some foes We laugh and cry It’s where our emotions can fly There is a lot of love in my home It is my own little zone My home is filled with people I love My home is more than just a roof above Thank you Habitat for Humanity Everyone deserves a house whether its expensive or free You have helped people beam We will change Canada as a team
