A home for me Is a place where I can feel free A place where memories are made It's a four walled barricade Protecting us from dangers portrayed A home is where you can feel safe Or maybe a warm place A home for me is where the ‘true you’ shines Where your safe from the people outside A place where you can't be hurt A place with joy in the air And laughter everywhere Where you only know the true you And your family will always be there to support you When times are tough or hard as a rock Your home will be there to listen to your thoughts A home not always a house It could be the trees A friend’s house Or a rough hard stone Or cold to the bone You can choose your home Because a home is the place where you'll be embraced The place where you'll be cared for A place to be safe A place with four walls A roof A door Love
