Home is Family

Love is a warm hug from your home. It is where I am safe and warm, with my emotions kept down. The kitchen is a sacred place to my mom, where she makes delightful food with magical smells wafting from it. My home is where I sit and talk with my sister about her day, and watch strange things while eating Buldak. My bedroom is like a hideout for my sister and I, where we tell each other secrets. My sister is like a star, you may not always see her, but you know she's always there. Ethiopia is my first home, where I was born, but we moved to Canada, where I made new friends. Not everyone has a home but thanks to Habitat for Humanity, people with no homes are getting homes. Thank you!
