What Home Means To Me

When I think of home, it reminds me of the taste of home-cooked meals like the cheesiness of lasagna, the tanginess of lemonade, and the spiciness of Kalbi ribs. Home also reminds me of hugs from my brother and mommy singing while I play the piano. The smell of daddy’s chocolate chip cookies fills the evening air while I read. My mountain of books reminds me that I am at home where I can relax, snuggle with my family and feel loved. The laughter of my family while we watch TV, play video games and talk on long drives is what makes me feel at home. To me, home is not just a place, it is how people and things can make you feel, anywhere you are.
