A Place That Understands Me

Home is a place where you feel safe and welcome. There is more to home than just a structure with walls and a roof. I relax and enjoy myself there without worrying about what other people think. I feel like I belong at home; my heart feels safe there. It's where I make memories, and I am able to get through the day. Home will always be the place that means the most to me, no matter where life takes me. I am told that everything will be alright by the people that I love, with kind, nice words. Even if I don't say anything, someone at home can tell when I'm sad. The smiles light the happy days, and the hugs make the hard days seem small. When you feel at home, you store memories, and the memories stored in my mind keep me who I am now. It involves eating meals together, and laughing over silly things. It is the memories we make every day.
