What Home Means to Me

This is why a home is better than a house. Home is a place where you smell one of your parents' special dishes, especially my Mom’s banana bread with extra chocolate .It can also be a place where you play with your pets or siblings or kids . A home is something that keeps your memories. Home is a place where you spend most of your time. I hear my dog sprinting down the stairs wanting pets. I hear my Mom asking how my day was after school when I walk in the door. Home is something everyone needs to be safe or warm. A home is what you can call your own unlike a house where it's somebody else’s. If you watch a sport and your team loses you don't lose because you are with your family, and you're safe. Houses are made of wood and bricks, but a home is made of memories.
