Where I Truly Belong

When the days are dark and outside is gloomy, when you step inside, it’s like sunlight pouring all over you. This is where I truly belong. This is where I grew up. If my home is gone half of my heart is gone. This is where I truly belong. When I'm at home, nothing outside can hurt me or scare me, my home protects me from bad weather, and bad people. This is where I truly belong. Without home I have nowhere else to go, this is where I sleep, eat, and do what my heart desires without feeling judged or worried. My home is my safest place to be. This is where I truly belong. No mall, store or place makes me happier than being at home because, this is where I truly belong.
